Birthday Gift FAQs
Quick answers to the questions we hear most from Aussie families planning a birthday gift.
What format do I receive my print in?
Your design is delivered as a high-resolution digital file (JPEG), ready to print at home, at a local print shop, or through our optional Print & Frame service. Framed orders arrive ready to hang.
How long does personalisation and delivery take?
Digital files are typically ready within 24–48 hours of order confirmation. Framed prints include additional production and shipping time — see the estimated delivery date at checkout for your postcode.
What print sizes and framing options are available?
Digital files can be printed at A4, A3 or A2. Framed prints are available in A3 with a matte black or oak frame.
Can I preview my design before it's finalised?
Yes — you'll receive a digital proof to review before your final file or framed print is produced, so you can check names, dates and details are correct.
Can I make changes after I've ordered?
Minor text corrections can be made at the proofing stage at no extra cost. For changes after a proof has been approved, contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Which birth year should I select if I don't know the exact date?
The birth year is what determines the news, headlines and cultural references used in the design, so as long as you have the correct year, we can create an accurate and meaningful print — the exact date isn't required.
Is this suitable for a milestone birthday like an 18th, 21st, 30th, 40th or 50th?
Yes — this design works for any birthday, with milestone years (18th, 21st, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th and beyond) being some of our most popular choices, as it's a meaningful way to reflect on the year they were born.
Can this be personalised for someone born overseas?
Yes — we have dedicated templates for the US, UK, Ireland and New Zealand. Just let us know the country in the personalisation notes at checkout and we'll use the version with accurate historical references for that country.
